On December 8th<\/sup>, 2022, the Text Analysis Research Group (TARG) of the School of Liberal Arts announced the winners of the \u201cFrom text to society: Tell us the research you wish to see\u201d competition.\u00a0 Mr. Suttipong Phansomboon, a first-year student in the Civil Engineering department of the Faculty of Engineering, is the first winner. His concept is titled \u201cInvestigating public perceptions of the ethics and impact of AI-generated art (e.g. Midjourney)\u201d, and he was awarded 5,000 Thai Baht and a certificate.\u00a0 Miss Jovelyn Jundante Camacho, a master\u2019s degree student at the School of Liberal Arts, is the second winner; she received 2,000 Baht and a certificate. The name of her concept is \u201cInvestigating public views on the recent decriminalisation of cannabis in Thailand\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
