DRAL4 Technical Guideline
A. GENERAL INFORMATION
DRAL4 will be held in the form of a virtual/Online conference using Zoom meeting.
Initial Zoom setup:
Please download and install Zoom in advance.
Note: It is recommended to install Zoom client for all operating systems instead of using a browser version. This will help avoid any issues that might be caused because of your browser. (Please view Zoom tutorial)
How to join the Session:
- You will receive an email invitation to join the session after registration.
- Click on the invited meeting URL or type in the meeting ID in the landing page of your Zoom desktop application.
- If you are joining the Session before the host has started the meeting, please wait in the lobby until the room moderator starts the Session.
- Please join at least 5 minutes before the session start to assure your connections are working properly.
- When you are not speaking, please mute your microphone.
- When you are assigned to a breakout room, please join the room promptly. It is helpful if your camera is on during breakout room sessions.
B. INSTRUCTIONS FOR PRESENTERS
You are recommended to choose either an online (live) presentation or a pre-recorded video presentation.
- You are requested to be present (show up) in the session meeting room at least 15 minutes before the session is due to start and identify yourself to the room moderator.
- The duration of each presentation is 35 minutes. It consists of:
- 1-minute introduction by the Moderator
- 20-minutes Presentation
- 10-minutes discussion in breakout rooms
- 5-minutes Q&A in a main rooms
- 5-minutes break between sessions
(Time will be counted down when your presentation starts)
- When naming your files, please use a full name of the (first) presenter after DRAL4.
For example, Richard Watson Todd would be “DRAL4_Richard Watson Todd” - Please submit PowerPoint slides or a pre-recorded video to our technical staff (Ms. Kullakan Suthidara) by the 20th of August, 2021 via email dral4.2021@kmutt.ac.th with a Subject line as “DRAL4_PPT submission (Your name)” or “DRAL4_VDO submission (Your name)”
- The content you create for DRAL4 will be available on our website and accessible to conference attendees. You retain the copyright. If you would like to share it further, we recommend creating a Creative Commons License, see www.creativecommons.comfor more information.
For online (Live) presentation
- The presentation format is Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 or above.
- Universal fonts such as Arial and Time New Roman are preferable.
- The presenters will open the PowerPoints slides by themselves.
- The presenters are requested to submit their PowerPoint slides (for a backup reason) to our technical staff according to aforementioned detail.
For pre-recorded video presentation
- A pre-recorded video must be submitted in MP4 format.
- The content of the video is limited to a maximum of 20 minutes.
- Our technical staff will open the VDO for you during the presentation session.
- The presenters are required to be present / show up since the beginning of their session.
C. SCHEDULE AND TIME
All-time in the program schedule are in Bangkok time zone (GMT+7).
