Sunday 13 January 2019 – Department of Language Studies, School of Liberal Arts (SoLA), organised a training on “Human Research Ethics” (in English) for graduate students in Department of Language Studies, SoLA, at SoLA 901, 9th floor, SoLA, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT). This activity was supported by Research, Innovation and Partnerships Office and Department of Social Sciences and Humanities. The training session was conducted by Dr. Passanan Assavarak, a member of Human Research Ethics Committee of KMUTT, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Piyapong Janmaimool, a member of Research Ethics Committee of SoLA.
This training aimed to raise awareness of importance of human research ethics, regulations, procedures, and guidelines on human research ethics application of KMUTT. Some case studies related to human research ethics and potential impact were also discussed. The training was attended by 24 participants including graduate students in Department of Language Studies, SoLA, and external agencies.
