Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 March 2019 – Department of Social Studies, School of Liberal Arts (SoLA), arranged “Philosophy of Living in the 21st Century Project” at Thai Song Dam Cultural Center, Khao Yoi District, Phetchaburi Province. This project was participated by 68 students of General Philosophy (SSC 211). At the center, the students had a chance to learn the way of life of Thai Song Dam, share experience, learn and implement the concept of “self-reliance” of Ban Lao Malako. The objective of this project was to expand the students’ vision toward social and cultural diversity as well as multicultural aspects. Then they could apply soft skills such as reasoning, analytical thinking, criticism, problem solving, flexibility, and collaboration to their lives and work. Furthermore, this project aimed to improve the students’ self-directed learning skills to help them to become lifelong learners.
