On Monday, 17 January 2020, King Mongkut’s University of Technology’s School of Liberal Arts and Burapha University’s Language Institute signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to collaborate and expand academic network, research, and academic service. Among these are the following:
2.1 Academic cooperation – this may be accomplished through the exchange of news, staff and/or specialists, the organization of conferences and educational visits between the two universities, as well as the dissemination of academic works in order to strengthen the academic network.
2.2 Research cooperation – this may be accomplished through coordinating research-related staff development, exchanging research personnel, and co-organizing activities.
2.3 Academic service cooperation – this can be accomplished through the organization of seminars, conferences, or training workshops, as well as through staff exchanges, information sharing within the organization, and the creation of databases to develop and enhance foreign language proficiency among students, internal staff, and other staff from both the private and public sectors, as well as the general public.
