The Master of Arts program in Applied Linguistics, Teaching English, and Applied English Studies (International Program) from the School of Liberal Arts at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) has established an academic cooperation with the International Language Education: Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, Soka University, Japan, to organize the “ELT/TESOL Student Exchange Program (March & June 2023) Soka University & King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi.” During the first period of the program, student representatives from Soka University visited KMUTT between March 12-26, 2023. The program aims to enable participating students to exchange their knowledge and learn about teaching English in both Thailand and Japan through classroom observation activities, co-teaching, and cultural activities.
