27-31 May 2019 – Department of Language Studies, School of Liberal Arts (SoLA), arranged a workshop on “Global English and the Globalisation of Higher Education” at SoLA, KMUTT. The workshop was conducted by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Heath Rose from University of Oxford. He specialises in language teaching research, applied linguistics, teaching English as an international language, and higher education. The foci of this workshop were directly related to management in English language teaching, learning a language based on self-regulation and learner strategies, and English-medium instruction.
