Monday, 12 November 2018 – Department of Social Sciences and Humanities, School of Liberal Arts (SOLA), held a social forum on “Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease: Care and Prevention”. The purpose of this project was to provide the knowledge on Alzheimer’s disease, commonly found in older people, to 62 participants including SOLA personnel, students, and interested audience. Moreover, symptoms, observation by family, danger prevention, self-care, and proper care for family members were discussed.Raweewan Suraseranewongse, MD., a specialist in geriatric medicine of Klang Hospital, was invited as a guest speaker to share the knowledge. She was cordially welcomed by Asst. Prof. Varaporn Noppawong Na Ayutthaya and Asst. Prof. Wipawee Iemworamate.
