เนื่องในโอกาสวันสงกรานต์ซึ่งเป็นวันขึ้นปีใหม่ของไทย คณะศิลปศาสตร์ได้จัดพิธีสรงน้ำพระพุทธรูป และรดน้ำขอพรอาจารย์อาวุโสของคณะฯ เมื่อวันพฤหัสบดีที่ 4 เมษายน 2567 วัตถุประสงค์เพื่ออนุรักษ์ประเพณีไทยและดำรงเอกลักษณ์ทางวัฒนธรรมอันดีงาม ในการแสดงความเคารพ และความกตัญญูกตเวทิตาแด่อาจารย์อาวุโสผู้มีพระคุณที่ได้สร้างคุณประโยชน์ให้คณะฯ โดยมี ผศ.ดร.ศศิธร สุวรรณเทพ คณบดีคณะศิลปศาสตร์ เป็นประธานเปิดงาน ทั้งนี้ คณะฯ ได้รับเกียรติจาก อ. สุวลี ชินกำธรวงศ์ อ.สมบัติ กิ่งกาญจนวงศ์ อ.กุลวดี แหยมเกตุ และคุณกนกรัตน์ นาคหฤทัย นอกจากนี้มีการรับประทานอาหารร่วมกัน ซึ่งซุ้มอาหารทางคณะฯ ได้สนับสนุนจากชุมชนบ้านมอญบางกระดี่ และชุมชนบ้านถ้ำรงค์ จังหวัดเพชรบุรี บรรยากาศภายในงานเต็มไปด้วยความอบอุ่นและสร้างความประทับใจเป็นอย่างยิ่ง
4 April 2024 – On the celebration and occasion of Songkran Ceremony, also known as the traditional Thai New Year, School of Liberal Arts (SoLA) organised a Buddha bathing ritual and a water blessing ceremony to ask senior lecturers of SoLA for their blessings. This activity was held to conserve Thai tradition and culture, pay respect, and express gratitude to the senior lecturers who have devoted themselves to SoLA. Also, the activity was chaired by Asst. Prof. Dr. Sasitorn Suwannathep, Dean of SoLA, and participated by Lect. Suvalee Chinkumtornwong, Lect. Sombat Kingkarnchanawong, Lect. Kulawadee Yamkate and Ms. Kanokrat Nakharuthai to give blessings to personnel and students of SoLA. In addition, lunch added to the atmosphere’s warmth and impression.
