มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าธนบุรี (มจธ.) เตรียมจัดงาน “KMUTT ACTS 2024: Sustainable Thrive Through Entrepreneurship” เพื่อแสดงผลงานด้านความยั่งยืนผ่านแนวคิดผู้ประกอบการ งานนี้มุ่งเน้นการนำความรู้ทางวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีไปประยุกต์ใช้จริงในสังคมและชุมชน
ไฮไลท์ของงานคือบูธจากสำนักงานวิชาศึกษาทั่วไป ที่จะให้ผู้เข้าร่วมได้เรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับแนวคิดแบบผู้ประกอบการและความยั่งยืนผ่านเกมสนุกๆ พร้อมเปิดโอกาสผู้เข้าร่วมได้แชร์ไอเดียรักษ์โลก เช่น การประหยัดพลังงานและลดขยะ
นอกจากนี้ สำนักงานวิชาศึกษาทั่วไปยังได้นำเสนอรายวิชาที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการพัฒนาแนวคิดผู้ประกอบการและความยั่งยืน โดยจะมีการจัดแสดงผลงานของนักศึกษาที่ได้เรียนวิชาเหล่านี้ ซึ่งแสดงให้เห็นถึงการนำความรู้จากห้องเรียนไปประยุกต์ใช้ในการแก้ปัญหาจริงและสร้างนวัตกรรมเพื่อความยั่งยืน
นอกจากการออกบูธของสำนักงานวิชาศึกษาทั่วไปแล้ว ยังได้รับเกียรติจากตัวแทนนักศึกษาที่เพิ่งกลับมาจากโครงการแลกเปลี่ยนที่ประเทศเวียดนาม มาแบ่งปันประสบการณ์ในหัวข้อ ‘Empowering Global Leaders Through Entrepreneurship’
การแชร์ประสบการณ์นี้จะช่วยเปิดมุมมองใหม่ๆ ให้กับนักศึกษาทุกคน เกี่ยวกับการเป็นผู้ประกอบการเพื่อสังคมในบริบทระดับนานาชาติ ซึ่งสอดคล้องกับเป้าหมายของวิชาเราในการสร้างการเปลี่ยนแปลงเชิงบวกในสังคม
ACTS ย่อมาจาก Activate, Create, Transform, Sustainable สะท้อนเป้าหมายของงานที่ต้องการ มุ่งเน้นการส่งเสริมให้นักศึกษาและบุคลากรมจธ. มีแนวคิดความเป็นผู้ประกอบการ คือ คิด สร้างสรรค์ ลงมือทำจริง สู้จนสำเร็จ สร้างผลกระทบที่มีความหมาย ต่อชุมชนและสังคม บนหลักการของการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืนที่คำนึงถึงความสมดุลในมิติสังคม (People) สิ่งแวดล้อม (Planet) และ เศรษฐกิจ (Prosperity) ผ่านการสร้างความตระหนักรู้และผลักดันให้ประชาคมมจธ. ขับเคลื่อนการเปลี่ยนแปลงและสร้างสรรค์สิ่งใหม่ต่อไป
งานนี้ไม่เพียงแต่แสดงผลงานเท่านั้น แต่ยังมุ่งสร้างแรงบันดาลใจและปลูกฝังแนวคิดการเป็นผู้ประกอบการที่ใส่ใจสิ่งแวดล้อมให้กับประชาคม มจธ. และผู้สนใจทั่วไป ผ่านการนำเสนอผลงานของนักศึกษาที่ได้นำความรู้จากห้องเรียนไปสู่การปฏิบัติจริง ซึ่งจะเป็นตัวอย่างที่ดีในการสร้างการเปลี่ยนแปลงเพื่อโลกที่ยั่งยืน
KMUTT to Host KMUTT ACTS 2024: Inspiring Entrepreneurial Spirit for a Sustainable Future
King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) is gearing up to host “KMUTT ACTS 2024: Sustainable Thrive Through Entrepreneurship,” an event aimed at showcasing innovative sustainability projects rooted in entrepreneurial ideas. The focus is on applying scientific and technological knowledge to real-world challenges in society and communities.
A key highlight of the event will be the booth from the General Education Office, where participants can engage in interactive games that promote entrepreneurial thinking and sustainability. Attendees will also have the opportunity to contribute ideas on environmental conservation, such as energy saving and waste reduction.
In addition, the General Education Office will present student projects from courses centered on developing entrepreneurial thinking and sustainability. These projects will demonstrate how classroom knowledge can be translated into practical solutions and innovations for sustainability.
The event will also feature a special presentation by student representatives who recently returned from an exchange program in Vietnam. They will share their experiences under the theme “Empowering Global Leaders Through Entrepreneurship,” offering new perspectives on social entrepreneurship in an international context, aligning with the course’s goal of fostering positive societal change.
“ACTS” stands for Activate, Create, Transform, and Sustain, reflecting the event’s mission to cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset within the KMUTT community.
