คณะศิลปศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าธนบุรี (KMUTT) โดยศูนย์พัฒนาสมรรถนะสากล (GCDC) ได้จัดการประชุมเชิงปฏิบัติการเรื่อง “การประเมินและปรับปรุงคุณภาพข้อสอบ Test of English for Thai Engineers and Technologists (TETET) และ KMUTT English Proficiency Test (KEPT) Version 2 โดยใช้ Rasch Model (ระยะที่ 2)” ระหว่างวันที่ 16–20 กุมภาพันธ์ 2569 การประชุมเชิงปฏิบัติการครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเสริมสร้างคุณภาพ ความเที่ยงตรง และความเชื่อมั่นของข้อสอบ TETET และ KEPT Version 2 โดยประยุกต์ใช้ Rasch Model ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อสอบขั้นสูง อีกทั้งยังมุ่งยกระดับความแม่นยำในการประเมินความสามารถทางภาษาอังกฤษของนักศึกษาและบุคลากรสายวิชาการ เพื่อให้มาตรฐานการทดสอบของมหาวิทยาลัยสอดคล้องกับแนวปฏิบัติสากลระดับนานาชาติ ทั้งนี้ได้รับเกียรติจาก Professor Dr. Paul Horness จาก The World Language Center, Soka University ประเทศญี่ปุ่น ผู้เชี่ยวชาญทางด้านการวัดและประเมินผลมาเป็นวิทยากรในการจัดประชุมเชิงปฏิบัติการในครั้งนี้
School of Liberal Arts, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), through the Global Competence Development Centre (GCDC), organized the workshop entitled “Evaluation and Improvement of Test Quality for Test of English for Thai Engineers and Technologists (TETET) and KMUTT English Proficiency Test (KEPT) Version 2 Using the Rasch Model (Phase 2)” from 16–20 February 2026. The workshop aims to strengthen the quality, validity, and reliability of the TETET and KEPT Version 2 by applying the Rasch model for advanced item analysis. The initiative seeks to enhance the accuracy of English proficiency assessment for students and academic staff, ensuring that KMUTT’s testing standards align with international best practices. On this occasion, the workshop was honored by the presence of Professor Dr. Paul Horness from the World Language Center, Soka University, Japan, a specialist in testing and evaluation, who served as the keynote speaker and facilitator for this workshop.
