Saturday 2 March 2019 – The Testing Unit of School of Liberal Arts (SoLA), led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Natjiree Jaturapitakkul, arranged the Test of English for Thai Engineers and Technologists or TETET for the engineers of Danieli Co., Ltd. in Rayong Province. This company is an Italian machinery manufacture for steel industry and the third-largest in the world. The purposes of this test arrangement were to promote the use of TETET of King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) to outsiders in industrial sector, build cooperation, and provide wider academic services for industry sector. There were 45 participants in the first round of TETET. Moreover, the Testing Unit would prepare a public relations plan to use TETET in other industrial companies.

นำโดย ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร. ณัตจิรี จาตุรพิทักษ์กุล ได้ดำเนินการจัดสอบด้วยแบบทดสอบภาษาอังกฤษสำหรับวิศวกรและนักเทคโนโลยีไทย หรือ TETET ให้แก่บุคลากรในตำแหน่งวิศวกรของบริษัทดานิลี่จำกัด จังหวัดระยอง ซึ่งเป็นบริษัทในเครือประเทศอิตาลี่ที่เป็นผู้นำในการผลิตเครื่องจักรสำหรับอุตสาหกรรมผลิตเหล็กอันดับสามของโลก โดยการจัดทดสอบครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อส่งเสริมและเผยแพร่การใช้แบบทดสอบ TETET ที่เป็นแบรนด์แบบทดสอบภาษาอังกฤษของมจธ.ไปยังบุคคลภายนอกในภาคอุตสาหกรรม ตลอดจนการสร้างความร่วมมือและให้บริการวิชาการกับภาคอุตสาหกรรมในวงที่กว้างขึ้น โดยมีผู้เข้ารับการทดสอบในรอบแรกทั้งสิ้น 45 คน ทั้งนี้หน่วยทดสอบมีแผนในการประชาสัมพันธ์การใช้แบบทดสอบTETET ไปยังบริษัทต่าง ๆ ในภาคอุตสาหกรรมให้มากขึ้นต่อไป
