Saturday 30 March 2019 – Department of Language Studies, School of Liberal Arts (SoLA) and Faculty of Science presided over the activity entitled “Plearn English Learning” at which there were 100 students from faculties within King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi. Leading by Wisdomwide Co., Ltd, the activities included icebreaking, use of English through technology, as well as the three activity bases – Welcome to Thailand, Cozy English, and English Battle. This project aimed to enhance students’ English communication skills and confidence. In addition, the students were cultivated self-learning skills, through the implementation of mobile applications, in order that promote their lifelong learning skills.
เมื่อวันเสาร์ที่ 30 มีนาคม 2562 ที่ผ่านมา คณะศิลปศาสตร์ ร่วมกับคณะวิทยาศาสตร์ ได้จัดโครงการ “Plearn English Learning” ให้แก่นักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี จากคณะต่างๆ โดยมีนักศึกษาที่เข้าร่วมทั้งสิ้น 43 คน ในการอบรมประกอบไปด้วย กิจกรรม Ice Breaking กิจกรรมที่เน้นการฝึกใช้งานภาษาอังกฤษผ่านเทคโนโลยี รวมถึงการแบ่งกลุ่มเข้ากิจกรรมฐานการเรียนรู้ 3 ฐาน ได้แก่ Welcome to Thailand, Cozy English และ English Battle ซึ่งกิจกรรมดังกล่าวมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อพัฒนาทักษะการสื่อสารและเพิ่มความมั่นใจในการใช้งานภาษาอังกฤษให้แก่นักศึกษา โดยมุ่งเน้นภาษาอังกฤษที่ใช้ในชีวิตประจำวัน ตลอดจนส่งเสริมให้นักศึกษาเห็นถึงความสำคัญของการเรียนรู้ภาษาอังกฤษด้วยตนเอง
