เมื่อวันที่ 14 ตุลาคม 2569 หลักสูตรศิลปศาสตรมหาบัณฑิต สาขาสังคมศาสตร์สิ่งแวดล้อม (Environmental Social Science: ESS) คณะศิลปศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าธนบุรี ได้จัดการประชุมวิพากษ์หลักสูตรฉบับปรับปรุง พ.ศ. 2569 ณ มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าธนบุรี โดยมีคณะผู้รับผิดชอบหลักสูตรประกอบด้วย อาจารย์ ดร.อิทธิศักดิ์ จิราภรณ์วารี (อ.อิฐ) อาจารย์ ดร.ก้องกาญจน์ วชิรพนัง (อ.ดโจ) อาจารย์ ดร.สุรัตน์ เพชรนิล (อ.ตู่) และ อาจารย์ ดร.สิทธกานต์ สิทธิ (อ.เชน)
การประชุมครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อรับฟังข้อเสนอแนะจากผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิจากทั้งภาคการศึกษา ภาคเอกชน และภาคสังคม เพื่อนำมาประกอบการปรับปรุงและพัฒนาหลักสูตรให้มีความครบถ้วนสมบูรณ์และสอดคล้องกับการเปลี่ยนแปลงของสังคมในยุคปัจจุบัน รวมถึงสามารถผลิตบัณฑิตที่มีคุณภาพ ตอบสนองต่อความต้องการของตลาดแรงงาน และมีศักยภาพในการขับเคลื่อนสังคมสู่ความยั่งยืน หลักสูตรได้รับเกียรติจากผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิจำนวน 5 ท่าน ร่วมให้ข้อคิดเห็นเชิงวิชาการและข้อเสนอแนะเชิงนโยบาย ได้แก่ ศาสตราจารย์เกียรติคุณ ดร.ธวัชชัย ศุภดิษฐ์ อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยนครพนม รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.คนางค์ คันธมธุรพจน์ คณะสังคมศาสตร์และมนุษยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ดร.ชลิดา เหนี่ยวบุบผา ผู้จัดการแผนกตรวจติดตามคุณภาพสิ่งแวดล้อม บริษัท เอแอลเอส แลบอราทอรี กรุ๊ป (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด คุณวรรณวิภา ภานุมาต บริษัท โลเคิล อไลค์ จำกัด และ คุณสัมฤทธิ์ อนุภักดิ์ ผู้ช่วยกรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่อาวุโส ฝ่ายพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืน กลุ่มเซ็นทรัล
ภายในเวทีการประชุม ผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิได้ร่วมแลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองเกี่ยวกับแนวโน้มของสังคมสิ่งแวดล้อมในอนาคต บทบาทของนักสังคมศาสตร์สิ่งแวดล้อมต่อการแก้ไขปัญหาสังคมและสิ่งแวดล้อม ตลอดจนแนวทางการออกแบบหลักสูตรให้เชื่อมโยงกับความต้องการของผู้เรียนและภาคส่วนต่าง ๆ ในสังคมอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม ทั้งนี้ คณะผู้จัดทำหลักสูตรจะนำข้อคิดเห็นและข้อเสนอแนะทั้งหมดมาประมวลเพื่อปรับปรุงโครงสร้างรายวิชาให้มีความเหมาะสม ครอบคลุม และทันสมัยมากยิ่งขึ้น การประชุมวิพากษ์หลักสูตรในครั้งนี้สะท้อนถึงความมุ่งมั่นของคณะศิลปศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าธนบุรี ในการพัฒนาหลักสูตรเชิงบูรณาการที่เชื่อมโยงองค์ความรู้ทางสังคมศาสตร์ สิ่งแวดล้อม และการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืน เพื่อผลิตบัณฑิตที่มีความรู้คู่คุณธรรม มีความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคม และพร้อมเป็นกำลังสำคัญในการขับเคลื่อนประเทศสู่อนาคตที่ยั่งยืน
KMUTT’s Master of Arts in Environmental Social Science Program Conducts Curriculum Review for the 2026 Revision
On October 14, 2026, the Master of Arts in Environmental Social Science (ESS) program, Faculty of Liberal Arts, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), organized a Curriculum Review Meeting for the revised 2026 edition of the program. The meeting took place at KMUTT and was led by the program management committee, including Dr. Ittisak Jirapornvaree, Dr. Kongkarn Wachirapana, Dr. Suras Phatchanil, and Dr. Sitthakan Sitti.
The purpose of this meeting was to gather expert opinions from representatives across academia, the private sector, and civil society. The insights and recommendations received will be incorporated into the curriculum development process to ensure that it remains comprehensive, up-to-date, and responsive to the changing dynamics of society. The revised curriculum aims to produce high-quality graduates who meet labor market needs and possess the capacity to drive social and environmental sustainability.
The program was honored to welcome five distinguished experts who provided valuable academic and policy-level recommendations, including:
- Professor Emeritus Dr. Thawatchai Supadis, President of Nakhon Phanom University
- Associate Professor Dr. Khanang Kanthamathuraphot, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Mahidol University
- Dr. Chalida Niaobuppha, Environmental Quality Assurance Manager, ALS Laboratory Group (Thailand) Co., Ltd.
- Ms. Wannawipa Phanumat, Local Alike Co., Ltd.
- Mr. Samrit Anupak, Senior Executive Vice President for Sustainability Development, Central Group
During the session, the experts exchanged perspectives on emerging trends in environmental and social development, the roles of environmental social scientists in addressing complex social–environmental challenges, and strategies for designing curricula that align with learners’ needs and diverse stakeholder expectations. The program committee will integrate these constructive suggestions into the curriculum framework to enhance its academic rigor, relevance, and alignment with global sustainability directions.
This curriculum review reflects the Faculty of Liberal Arts’ commitment to advancing interdisciplinary education that bridges the fields of social science, environmental studies, and sustainable development. Through this effort, KMUTT aims to cultivate graduates who are not only knowledgeable and ethically grounded but also socially responsible leaders ready to contribute to a sustainable future for Thailand and beyond.
