Department of Language Studies, School of Liberal Arts (SoLA), organised a training project for English teaching and learning development of teachers and students at Praratchathannayao Secondary School in Sanam Chai Khet District, Cha Choeng Sao Province, during 8-10 February 2019. This project consisted of two sub-projects as follows:
1. Training project for English teachers at Praratchathannayao Secondary School
2. English Skill Development Project for secondary students
The project gained good cooperation and interest from trainees including 19 English teachers and over 59 secondary students at Praratchathannayao Secondary School.
The main purpose of this project was to increase the ability to use English of both English teachers and teachers of other subjects. They were provided with guidelines for an arrangement of English camp to improve English skills of their students and produce well-trained students in English teaching. Moreover, they had a better understanding of teacher ethics and application of teaching knowledge based on student-centered learning. The trainees also enjoyed learning language skills and cultural differences influencing the use of English which could help them enhance the quality in English teaching.
สายวิชาภาษา คณะศิลปศาสตร์ ได้จัดโครงการพัฒนาการเรียนการสอนภาษาอังกฤษสำหรับครูและนักเรียนของโรงเรียนมัธยมพระราชทานนายาว อำเภอสนามชัยเขต จังหวัดฉะเชิงเทรา ระหว่างวันที่ 8-10 กุมภาพันธ์ 2562 ซึ่งประกอบด้วย โครงการย่อย 2 โครงการ คือ
1. โครงการฝึกอบรมครูผู้สอนภาษาอังกฤษสำหรับครูโรงเรียนมัธยมพระราชทานนายาว
2. โครงการพัฒนาทักษะภาษาอังกฤษนักเรียนระดับมัธยมศึกษา
การอบรมครั้งนี้ได้รับความร่วมมือและความสนใจจากผู้เข้าอบรมเป็นอย่างดีโดยมีครูผู้สอนภาษาอังกฤษ เข้ารับการอบรมจำนวน 19 คน และนักเรียนระดับมัธยมศึกษาของโรงเรียนพระราชทานนายาว จังหวัดฉะเชิงเทรา กว่า 59 คน
ทั้งนี้การจัดโครงการดังกล่าวมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อยกระดับความสามารถในการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษของผู้สอนและครูผู้สอนวิชาอื่น ทำให้ผู้เข้ารับการอบรมมีแนวทางในการจัดค่ายภาษาอังกฤษ เพื่อพัฒนา ภาษาอังกฤษของนักเรียนของตนเอง และเพื่อมุ่งผลิตบัญฑิตที่มีความรู้ความชำนาญในด้านการเรียน การสอนภาษาอังกฤษ เข้าถึงจริยธรรมของครูและประยุกต์ใช้ความรู้ที่ได้เรียน ในรายวิชาทางด้านการสอน โดยเน้นวิธีการเรียนการสอนที่มีผู้เรียนเป็นศูนย์กลาง ในการเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมค่ายภาษาอังกฤษนี้ ผู้เข้าร่วมจะได้เรียนรู้ทั้งทักษะทางภาษา และได้เรียนรู้ความแตกต่างทางวัฒนธรรมที่มีผลต่อการใช้ ภาษาอังกฤษ เพื่อพัฒนาคุณภาพการเรียนการสอนภาษาอังกฤษต่อไป
