เมื่อวันที่ 16 กันยายน 2567 ผศ.ดร.ภาสนันทน์ อัศวรักษ์ ผู้ช่วยคณบดีฝ่ายวิจัย คณะศิลปศาสตร์ ร่วมกับสำนักงานกิจการต่างประเทศ (International Affairs Office: IA) มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าธนบุรี (บางมด) ได้บรรยายพิเศษหัวข้อ “Thai Culture, Politics and History” ณ The Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS) ประเทศอินโดนีเซีย ภายใต้โครงการ HYBRID ASIA EXPLORATION (HAX) โครงการมุ่งเน้นการสร้างทักษะในการประยุกต์ความรู้ทางวิศวกรรม โดยอาศัยความเข้าใจในความแตกต่างทางวัฒนธรรม ภาษา ประวัติศาสตร์ กลุ่มชาติพันธุ์ การศึกษา และความก้าวหน้าทางเทคโนโลยีที่เป็นเอกลักษณ์ของแต่ละประเทศ โดยมีพันธมิตรร่วมดำเนินการจาก 6 มหาวิทยาลัย คือ Shibaura Institute of Technology (SIT), Japan; Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), Indonesia; Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP), Malaysia; Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT), Malaysia; King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), Thailand; and Cebu Technological University (CTU), Philippines ภายใต้การจัดกิจกรรมมีผู้เข้าร่วมจำนวน 58 คน จาก 7 ประเทศ ประกอบด้วย ประเทศอินโดนีเซีย ฟิลิปปินส์ ไทย มาเลเซีย เวียดนาม รัสเซีย และญี่ปุ่น
การขับเคลื่อนโครงการ HYBRID ASIA EXPLORATION (HAX) เป็นหนึ่งในการสนับสนุนเป้าหมาย Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) ที่ 4 คือ สร้างหลักประกันว่า ทุกคนมีการศึกษาที่มีคุณภาพ ครอบคลุมและเท่าเทียม และสนับสนุนโอกาสในการเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิต เป้าหมายที่ 9 สร้างโครงสร้างพื้นฐานที่มีความยืดหยุ่นต่อการเปลี่ยนแปลง ส่งเสริมการพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรม ที่ครอบคลุมและยั่งยืน และส่งเสริมนวัตกรรม และเป้าหมายที่ 10 ลดความไม่เสมอภาคภายในและระหว่างประเทศ
On September 16, 2024, Asst. Prof. Dr. Passanan Assavarak, Assistant Dean for Research at the School of Liberal Arts, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), delivered a special lecture on “Thai Culture, Politics, and History” at the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS), Indonesia. The lecture was part of the ongoing HYBRID ASIA EXPLORATION (HAX) project, an initiative that aims to enhance participants’ skills in applying engineering knowledge through a deep understanding of each country’s cultural, historical, linguistic, and educational context. The HAX project brings together six partner universities from across Asia, including Shibaura Institute of Technology (SIT) in Japan, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) in Indonesia, Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) and Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) in Malaysia, Cebu Technological University (CTU) in the Philippines, and KMUTT in Thailand. The project serves as a platform for students and academics to exchange knowledge and collaborate on projects that integrate technological innovation with cultural and historical awareness. Dr. Phasanan’s lecture was attended by 58 participants from seven countries: Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Russia, and Japan.
The implementation of the HAX project also supports the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically Goal 4, which ensures inclusive and equitable quality education; Goal 9, which promotes sustainable industrialization and innovation; and Goal 10, which aims to reduce inequalities between and within countries.
