คณะศิลปศาสตร์ จัดอบรม “Science Communication for Non-Scientist” เสริมทักษะการสื่อสารวิทยาศาสตร์สำหรับบุคลากร
เมื่อวันที่ 10 สิงหาคม 2569 คณะศิลปศาสตร์ ได้จัดโครงการอบรมเชิงปฏิบัติการ “การสื่อสารวิทยาศาสตร์ (Science Communication for Non-Scientist)” เพื่อส่งเสริมความรู้และทักษะด้านการสื่อสารสารสนเทศและองค์ความรู้ทางวิทยาศาสตร์ให้แก่ผู้บริหาร อาจารย์ และบุคลากรของคณะศิลปศาสตร์ โดยได้รับเกียรติจาก ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.สิรวิชญ์ อิทธิโสภณพิศาล อาจารย์ประจำสาขาวิทยาศาสตร์ชีวภาพ คณะวิทยาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ เป็นวิทยากร
โอกาสนี้ ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.เสาวลักษณ์ เทพสุริวงศ์ รองคณบดีฝ่ายบริหาร และผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.สมพธู หวังทอง รองคณบดีฝ่ายวิชาการและประกันคุณภาพ ได้ให้เกียรติกล่าวต้อนรับและเปิดการอบรม โดยมีผู้บริหาร อาจารย์ และบุคลากรคณะศิลปศาสตร์เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมจำนวน 17 คน การอบรมมุ่งเน้นการเรียนรู้ผ่านกระบวนการเชิงปฏิบัติการ (Workshop-based Learning) เปิดโอกาสให้ผู้เข้าร่วมได้ฝึกวิเคราะห์และเรียบเรียงสารสนเทศทางวิทยาศาสตร์ ตลอดจนฝึกถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้ที่มีความซับซ้อนให้สามารถสื่อสารกับผู้รับสารที่ไม่ได้มีพื้นฐานด้านวิทยาศาสตร์ได้อย่างชัดเจน เข้าใจง่าย และเหมาะสมกับบริบทของผู้รับสาร นอกจากนี้ ยังมีกิจกรรมแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นและประสบการณ์ระหว่างผู้เข้าร่วมและวิทยากร เพื่อเชื่อมโยงองค์ความรู้กับการนำไปประยุกต์ใช้ในการปฏิบัติงานจริง
ผลจากการอบรม ผู้เข้าร่วมได้รับแนวคิดและประสบการณ์ที่สามารถนำไปประยุกต์ใช้ในการ ออกแบบและพัฒนาโมดูลการเรียนรู้สำหรับหลักสูตรใหม่ของคณะศิลปศาสตร์ โดยเฉพาะการบูรณาการทักษะการคิดวิเคราะห์ การสื่อสารข้อมูลและองค์ความรู้ทางวิทยาศาสตร์ ตลอดจนการเลือกใช้วิธีการและรูปแบบการสื่อสารให้เหมาะสมกับกลุ่มเป้าหมาย อันจะนำไปสู่การพัฒนากระบวนการเรียนรู้และเสริมสร้างสมรรถนะด้านการสื่อสารวิทยาศาสตร์ของผู้เรียนให้สอดคล้องกับบริบทการทำงานในโลกยุคใหม่
การจัดอบรมครั้งนี้นับเป็นอีกหนึ่งกิจกรรมสำคัญของคณะศิลปศาสตร์ในการส่งเสริมการพัฒนาศักยภาพบุคลากรและยกระดับการออกแบบการเรียนรู้ โดยมุ่งเชื่อมโยงองค์ความรู้ด้านวิทยาศาสตร์ ภาษา การสื่อสาร และทักษะที่จำเป็นในบริบทการทำงานจริง เพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมผู้เรียนให้สามารถสื่อสารองค์ความรู้ได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพและสร้างคุณค่าให้แก่สังคม
School of Liberal Arts Organizes “Science Communication for Non-Scientists” Workshop to Enhance Staff Science Communication Skills
On 10 August 2026, the School of Liberal Arts organized a workshop titled “Science Communication for Non-Scientists” to enhance the knowledge and skills of its executives, faculty members, and staff in communicating scientific information and knowledge. The workshop was led by Assistant Professor Dr. Sirawit Ittisoponpisan, a lecturer in Biological Sciences at the Faculty of Science, Prince of Songkla University.
Assistant Professor Dr. Saowaluck Tepsuriwong, Associate Dean for Administration, and Assistant Professor Dr. Sompatu Vungthong, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Quality Assurance, welcomed the participants and officially opened the workshop. A total of 17 executives, faculty members, and staff from the School of Liberal Arts participated in the event.
Throughout the workshop, participants took part in hands-on activities to analyze scientific information and practice communicating complex ideas in clear and accessible ways for non-scientific audiences. They also had opportunities to exchange ideas and experiences with the speaker and discuss how these communication strategies could be applied in their own work.
The workshop also provided ideas and practical experience that participants can use in designing and developing learning modules for the School’s new curriculum. In particular, they explored how critical thinking and science communication skills can be incorporated into learning activities, as well as how different communication methods can be used for different audiences. These ideas will help the School prepare students to communicate scientific information effectively in academic and professional settings.
The workshop was part of the School of Liberal Arts’ efforts to develop staff capacity and strengthen learning design. By connecting science with language, communication, and practical workplace skills, the School aims to provide learning experiences that prepare students to communicate knowledge clearly and effectively in real-world contexts.
