ศูนย์พัฒนาสมรรถนะสากล (Global Competence Development Centre: GCDC) คณะศิลปศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าธนบุรี จัดกิจกรรมพัฒนาภาษาอังกฤษ “The English Learning Playground” ให้กับนักเรียนโรงเรียนวัดพุทธบูชา ชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3 และชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 จำนวน 59 คน โดยได้รับเกียรติจากผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ณัตจิรี จาตุรพิทักษ์กุล รองคณบดีฝ่ายพัฒนาสมรรถนะสากล คณะศิลปศาสตร์ กล่าวต้อนรับคณะผู้บริหาร ครู และนักเรียน และนายนรภัทร สิงห์นวล รองผู้อำนวยการกลุ่มบริหารวิชาการ โรงเรียนวัดพุทธบูชา ได้กล่าวเปิดกิจกรรมพัฒนาภาษาอังกฤษและให้โอวาทแก่นักเรียนที่เข้าร่วมกิจกรรม
โดยกิจกรรมพัฒนาภาษาอังกฤษ “The English Learning Playground” จัดขึ้นเป็นเวลา 4 วัน (วันที่ 20 สิงหาคม, วันที่ 27 สิงหาคม, วันที่ 3 กันยายน และวันที่ 10 กันยายน 2567) โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเปิดโอกาสให้ผู้เรียนได้ฝึกและพัฒนาทักษะการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษ ในสถานการณ์ที่หลากหลายมากกว่าการเรียนในห้องเรียน ผ่านการเข้าร่วมกิจกรรม ได้แก่ กิจกรรม Origami (Making DIY LaBuBu, A thousand cranes to fulfill wishes), กิจกรรม Techno quiz, กิจกรรม Edible Flower Cookies, กิจกรรม Flower Jelly, กิจกรรม Rose Apple Cake, กิจกรรม New artist, กิจกรรม Interactive English with personal Assistance, กิจกรรม Dreama Queen และกิจกรรม Travelling (Poster making)
The Global Competence Development Centre (GCDC), under the School of Liberal Arts at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, organized an English language development activity called “The English Learning Playground” for 59 students from Wat Phutthabucha School, specifically those in Grade 9 and Grade 12. The event was honored by Asst. Prof. Dr. Natjiree Jaturapitakkul, Associate Dean for Global Competence Development, School of Liberal Arts, who welcomed the school’s administrators, teachers, and students. The opening remarks for the English development activity were delivered by Mr. Norapat Singnual, Deputy Director of Academic Administration at Wat Phutthabucha School, who also gave words of encouragement to the participating students.
The English Learning Playground was held over four days (August 20, August 27, September 3, and September 10, 2024) with the objective of providing students with opportunities to practice and develop their English language skills in a variety of settings beyond the traditional classroom. The activities included Origami (Making DIY LaBuBu, A Thousand Cranes to Fulfill Wishes), Techno Quiz, Edible Flower Cookies, Flower Jelly, Rose Apple Cake, New Artist, Interactive English with Personal Assistance, Dreama Queen, and Travelling (Poster Making).
