Land Restoration, Desertification and Drought Resilience โดยได้รับเกียรติจากคุณอนันต์ ดนตรี รองปลัดกระทรวงการพัฒนาสังคมและความมั่นคงของมนุษย์ ในการเป็นประธานในพิธี และร่วมปาฐกถาพิเศษ “นโยบายสู่ความเป็นอยู่ที่ดีแบบมีส่วนร่วมสำหรับทุกคน” รศ.ดร.สุวิทย์ แซ่เตีย อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าธนบุรี รศ. ดร. ยศพงษ์ ลออนวล. ผู้ช่วยอธิการบดีฝ่ายพัฒนาความยั่งยืน ผศ.ดร.ศศิธร สุวรรณเทพ คณบดีคณะศิลปศาสตร์ คณาจารย์สายวิชาสังคมศาสตร์และมนุษยศาสตร์ บุคลากร สถานประกอบการ สถานศึกษา ผู้สูงอายุ ผู้พิการ เด็กและเยาวชน และประชาชนทั่วไป
โดยภายในงานมีการจัดกิจกรรมกลุ่มย่อย ในกลุ่มเด็กและเยาวชน กลุ่มผู้สูงอายุ และกลุ่มผู้พิการในการร่วมกันค้นหาความต้องการเพื่อใช้ในการออกแบบความเป็นอยู่ที่ดี การจัดนิทรรศการงานด้านสังคมและสิ่งแวดล้อม การจัดปาฐกถาพิเศษ “นโยบายสู่ความเป็นอยู่ที่ดีแบบมีส่วนร่วมสำหรับทุกคน” และกิจกรรมสร้างความตระหนักด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม ณ พื้นที่ปลูกป่าชายเลน มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าธนบุรี (บางขุนเทียน) ดังนั้นการจัดงานจึงเป็นส่วนหนึ่งในการขับเคลื่อนการพัฒนาคน สานพันธกิจกับชุมชนอย่างสร้างสรรค์ พัฒนาศักยภาพคนตลอดช่วงชีวิต ให้บริการวิชาการแก่สังคมและชุมชนบนพื้นฐานความรู้ทางวิชาการ จากประสบการณ์และทักษะด้านวิชาชีพ ตามความต้องการของชุมชน สังคม และสถานประกอบการ และสนับสนุนการบรรลุการเป็นกลางทางคาร์บอนในปี 2050 เพื่อให้เกิดผลกระทบตามมิติการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืน
World Environment Day 2024 is focusing on Land Restoration, Desertification, and Drought Resilience on June 5th, 2024, Master of Arts (Environmental Social Sciences), Department of Social Sciences and Humanities, School of Liberal Arts, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, Bangkok, Thailand. organized the “WORLD ENVI DAY x SSH 2024: Policy Pathway to Participatory Well-being for All.” Mr. Anan Dontree, Deputy Permanent Secretary, came to participate in an event at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, Bangkok, Thailand. The meeting was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suvit Saetia, President of KMUTT, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yossapong Laoonual, Assistant to the President for Sustainability, Assistant Prof. Dr. Sasitorn Suwannathep, Dean of School of Liberal Arts, Lecturer in Social Sciences and Humanities, KMUTT’ officer, College and School, Firm, Elderly, Disabled, Children and Youth and General Public.
During the event, the social sciences and humanities lecturer organized a focus group, a social and environmental exhibition, and environmental awareness activities at the KMUTT Bangmod and Bangkhuntaien Campuses. Consequently, organizing occasions contributes to advancing human development, imaginatively carrying out the community’s mission, and helping people reach their full potential. To affect the sustainable development front, they also assist in achieving carbon neutrality by 2050 and offer academic services to society and communities based on academic knowledge.
