คณะศิลปศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าธนบุรี โดยความร่วมมือกับ Malaysia Association in Applied Linguistics (MAAL) Singapore Association in Applied Linguistics (SAAL) และสมาคมภาษาศาสตร์ประยุกต์ประเทศไทย (TAAL) จัดงานสัมมนาระดับนานาชาติร่วมกันในหัวข้อ “Doing Research in Applied Linguistics 4 (DRAL 4)” ในวันเสาร์ที่ 4 กันยายน 2564 ที่ผ่านมา ในรูปแบบ Virtual ผ่านระบบ Zoom โดย ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร. ศศิธร สุวรรณเทพ และรองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.พรนภิส ดาราสว่าง รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายพัฒนาความเป็นสากล เป็นประธานกล่าวเปิดการสัมมนา และได้รับเกียรติจาก Professor Brian Paltridge จาก The University of Sydney และ Professor Guangwei Hu จาก The Hong Kong Polytechnic University ให้เกียรติเป็น Keynote Speakers ในการสัมมนา
การจัดการสัมมนาครั้งที่ 4 นี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อให้บุคลากรทางการศึกษาและนักศึกษาระดับบัณฑิตศึกษา ได้เผยแพร่ผลงานวิจัยและได้แลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้การทำงานวิจัยในสาขาภาษาศาสตร์ประยุกต์ที่เกิดขึ้นในประเทศไทยและต่างประเทศ โดยมีอาจารย์ นักวิจัย และนักศึกษาทั้งในประเทศไทยและต่างประเทศเข้าร่วมงานจำนวน 195 คน
School of Liberal Arts, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi in collaboration with Malaysian Association of Applied Linguistics, the Singapore Association for Applied Linguistics, and Thai Association for Applied Linguistics held an online international conference (Doing Research in Applied Linguistics 2021 International Conference: DRAL 4) on Saturday, 4 September 2021, through ZOOM meeting. The conference was welcomed by Dean – Asst. Prof. Dr. Sasitorn Suwannathep and Vice President for Internationalization – Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pornapit Darasawang. It was an honour to have Professor Brian Paltridge from the University of Sydney and Professor Guangwei Hu from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University as keynote speakers.
The purpose of DRAL4 conference was to serve as a platform for educators and researchers to disseminate research in applied linguistics, to share knowledge, and to network as well as to have academic collaboration in the future. The conference was attended by
195 participants from both Thai and international universities.
